Our smaller barges (capacity of 1,800 metric tons) have a maximum draft of 8 feet(2.5 m). Our 2,700 metric ton capacity barge has a maximum draft of 10 feet(3 m). The 5,700 metric ton capacity barge has a maximum draft of 14.5 feet and our 8,000 metric ton barge has a maximum draft of 16.5 feet(3 m). All of our tugs were designed to work in shallow water. Our smaller tugs have a draft of eight feet. Our larger, 2,400 hp tugs have a light draft of 10 feet(3 m).
